Jetski Safaris is now working with a local Approved MCA Training Provider so we can offer the STCW Basic Safety Training Qualification. It is the minimum safety training requirement for commercial vessels, Superyacht crew etc. It comprises of 5 training modules including: Elementary First Aid Personal Survival Techniques Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities Proficiency in Security Awareness You can book the modules individually or all 5 days together to suit your needs. The Standard of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) code requires all seafarers to receive familiarisation and basic safety training or instruction in accordance with section A-VI/1. On the course you will be made aware of safety procedures, the safety equipment available and operation, employment conditions and the working environment on board a commercial/merchant vessel. This is essential information that will help keep you, your crew members and passengers safer. It includes practical sessions in first aid, liferaft and survival techniques and fire fighting.
